Prof. Mario Marchetti was born on 26 th May 1952 in Castiglione del Lago.

In 1978 he obtained the degree in Pharmacy at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome.

From 1998 to 2013  he is president and professor at the School of Natural Medicine A.M.O. (Association of Homeopathic Medicine) with headquarters in Rome, and from 1999 he has been professor of "Planning and Organization of Health Services for the Training Courses of A.I.S.M. (Italian Association of Medicine and Society).
Since 2000  he has been presenter of  television broadcasts with  current events speech topics , particularly concerning health and healthcare  policies
Since 2002 he has been a member of  the Scientific Committee of the Observatory "The Ageing  Society"
Since 2002  he has been a member of the "Forum for non-conventional medicines" of the Order  of Physicians, Surgeons and Dentists in the Province of Rome
Since 2004 he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of  the Italian Society of Natural Medicine (SIMN).
Since 2006 he has been the director of the Section of Pharmacology of the Observatory "The Ageing Society".
Since 2012 he has been contract professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of  Tor Vergata in Rome.
Since 2013 he has been contract  professor at the University  La Sapienza in Rome -  II  level Postgraduate  Training Course "Obesity, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery" - Topic: "Protein- and ketogenic  treatments"

In  Decembre 2013 he was speaker at the International Conference  of Nutritionists, Pediatricians and Gastroenterologists - educational lesson: "How to lose weight  fast and safely"
